The husband and my mother-in-law took an early morning trip up to the wildlife refuge at Land Between the Lakes recently. They lucked out.


They arrived at the crack of dawn, in time to see the elk moving down from night pastures to daytime ones. Same for the buffalo.

This was originally "Buffalo Family", but it was pointed out that those are both cows, so unless Heather-calf Has Two Moms...
