Rosicrucian Park, part 1
Rosicrucian Park, part 2
The Rosicrucian Library is another impressive and beautiful building. I filled up my camera with a great many images of it. There were also other things of interest in the park, and the Museum is another impressive piece of Egyptian revival architecture.
First glimpse

This is the first peek at the library from over beside the auditorium. As we'll see later, the fountain in front is much larger than it first appears; it's in a sunken plaza in front of the library building. The library building itself is much larger than it first appears...
Panoramic view of the Rosicrucian Library

Note: if this picture makes you dizzy, it's because it's two separate pictures that have been perspective-corrected and spliced together. The perspective is thus mixed and confuses your brain.
Non-dizzying view of the front of the libary

View from over by the Peace Garden

Sunken plaza with Fountain

Senet Game

Out in the park there's a giant senet board. What is senet?

Caesar Augustus

I don't know why Augustus has a statue here, unless it's because he added ancient Egypt to the Roman Empire. However, it's a nice Roman bronze or reproduction of one. Behind him is the Planetarium, a nice Moorish Revival building that may have been the original museum before they build the current one.
Next: Interesting trees and the Museum building.
